ACCOUNT & ACCESS

Understand licenses and access

Check the account and entitlement behind a protected resource, then resolve missing access privately.

3 minute read·Guide

1. Check the signed-in account

  1. Open Client Area and confirm this is the account associated with the access request or subscription.
  2. Read the displayed subscription and license statuses. Registration alone does not grant subscription, protected downloads, or a game license.
  3. If using the wrong account, sign out through Account and sign into the intended one before testing again.

2. Check the resource

  1. Open Downloads and select the release. Protected files validate active entitlement on the server.
  2. For subscriber discussions, sign in and open Community. Public-topic access does not imply subscriber access.
  3. For a missing or refused resource, record its title, page URL, displayed status, and error time.
  4. After staff confirms a correction, refresh and test again. Reply to the same ticket with the result if access still fails.

3. Request correction

Open Support using the ticket guide. Include the following details.

  • Account name and the release or area you cannot open.
  • Subscription/license status shown in Client Area.
  • A purchase or support reference if available, plus the exact error.
  • Requested machine details belong in the private ticket. Never send passwords or full payment-card details.

Activation and machine binding

Client Area shows the subscriptions and licences recorded for your account. Where a licence has never had a key, you can generate it there once, and it is shown a single time. If you have lost a key that was already issued, support reissues it - which stops the old key working.

Activation itself happens on the server machine, in the Kantru Server Launcher or the GameServer: enter the key there and the licence binds to that machine on first use. A status shown in Client Area is a record of what the licence service knows; it is not proof that a program on your machine has activated.

To move a licence to a different machine, open a private support request with your licence ID and ask for the machine binding to be released. A changed public IP address does not need support: re-activate on the same machine and the new address is bound.
