Ancient items overhaul
Every ancient set has been rebuilt from the ground up. The old sets were a pile of near copies, so we replaced them with five tiers, D to S, where every class has exactly one set in the tiers S, A, B and C and up to two in D. The two highest tiers are armor only, and the numbers are all multiples of 5 so you can compare two sets at a glance. The full guide with every set, piece by piece, is in the Ancient items guide.

The five tiers
| Tier | What it is | Chance points | Key damage | Where it comes from |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| S · Super | Armor only. The chase sets. | 90 | 40% | Kundun and Selupan, 30% of the time |
| A · High | Armor only. | 65 | 30% | Kundun and Selupan, 70% of the time |
| B · Good | As strong as the best sets before the rework. | 50 | 25% | Erohim 30% of the time, Overlord elites 5% |
| C · Mid | The baseline: what the strong mid sets already gave. | 40 | 20% | Erohim 70% of the time, Overlord and Champion elites, Omega Wing, Gigas Golem |
| D · Starter | Up to two sets per class, one for offense and one for sustain. | 10 to 20 | 10% | Elites, the heroes of the Land of Trials, Metal Balrog |
Chance points are the full-set double damage, critical rate, excellent rate and ignore defense added up. Before the rework the best set gave 50, now the top gives 90.
What a set gives your class
Every set has one key attribute for its class, and it is always the biggest number of the set: physical damage in percent for the Dark Knight, Fairy Elf, Dark Lord and Rage Fighter, wizardry damage for the Dark Wizard and Summoner and both for the Magic Gladiator. On top of that sets give double damage, critical and excellent rate, ignore defense, critical and excellent damage and three new bonuses: combo damage (5% in tier C up to 20% in S), max life and max mana in percent and damage taken reduction for the tanks. The Fairy Elf also gets buff power that makes Greater Damage and Greater Defense stronger, together with the Energy and mana that already feed them.
| Class | Key bonus | Scales with | Support bonuses |
|---|---|---|---|
| Dark Knight | Physical damage | Strength | Life, defense |
| Dark Wizard | Wizardry damage | Energy | Mana, defense |
| Fairy Elf | Physical damage | Agility | Energy and mana, buff power |
| Magic Gladiator | Physical and wizardry damage | Strength and Energy | Life and mana |
| Dark Lord | Physical damage | Command | Life, defense |
| Summoner | Wizardry damage | Energy | Mana, life |
| Rage Fighter | Physical damage | Strength | Life, vitality |
Ancient Resonance
A full set of tier B or higher worn with the right weapon switches on Ancient Resonance, a buff that adds a percentage to your final damage and shows next to your other buffs.
| Class | Weapon | Final damage |
|---|---|---|
| Dark Knight | Two-handed sword | +30% |
| Dark Wizard | Staff | +20% |
| Fairy Elf | Bow or crossbow | +15% |
| Magic Gladiator | Two-handed sword | +35% |
| Magic Gladiator | Staff | +25% |
| Dark Lord | Dark Raven | +10%, on top of the Dark Raven bonus |
| Summoner | Stick | +20% |
| Rage Fighter | Glove weapons | +25% |

The Summoner has no tier D set, because before level 380 the Summoner has only four armor lines. Magic Gladiators have no helm and Rage Fighters no gloves, so their sets have four pieces and give the full bonus with four.
Where ancient items drop
The strongest sets come only from the three world bosses. Kundun, Selupan and Erohim give every player in your party a personal item that only they can pick up for two minutes, always a piece of a set their own class can use. Zen, jewels and lower tier pieces drop for everybody and land on free cells around the boss, never stacked on one spot.
| Source | Where | Ancient pieces |
|---|---|---|
| Kundun | Kalima 7 | S 30%, A 70% for every party member, plus up to 3 tier C pieces |
| Selupan | Raklion Boss | S 30%, A 70% for every party member, plus up to 3 tier C pieces |
| Erohim | Land of Trials | B 30%, C 70% for every party member, plus up to 3 tier D pieces |
| Overlord elite | Dungeon | 3 rolls of tier C at 70%, 5% for 1 tier B piece |
| Champion elite | Dungeon | 2 rolls of tier D at 70%, 20% for 1 tier C piece |
| Elite | Dungeon | 1 tier D piece |
| Omega Wing | Land of Trials, Devil Square | C 50%, D 50% |
| Gigas Golem | Land of Trials, Devil Square | C 20%, D 80% |
| Axl Hero and Hero Mutant | Land of Trials, Devil Square | D 100% |
| Metal Balrog | Land of Trials, Devil Square | D 100% |
The elite packs are the steady source. They pay D and C pieces for the whole server every few hours, and the Overlord has a small chance at a B piece. The A and S sets are the reason to take a party to Kundun and Selupan.
How often does it all happen?
| What | How often | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Elite pack | every 30 minutes | until it is killed, at most 25 minutes |
| Champion pack | every 90 minutes | same |
| Overlord pack | every 4 hours | same |
| Blood Moon | every 6 hours, warning 5 minutes before | 20 minutes |
| Treasure Goblin | every hour | 8 minutes |
| Shrines (6) | every 30 minutes | 10 minutes |
| Treasure chests (4) | every 40 minutes | 15 minutes |
| Swarms | always there, they move every 90 minutes | - |
The first packs show up a few minutes after every server restart, so a restart is not a free pass to wait it out.
Tips
- Party up. Blessings go to the whole party, and the waves of a cursed event get bigger, but so does the loot you can split.
- Read the abilities. Shielded means: guards first. Frozen means: stay out of range of the leader.
- Bring AoE for swarms. Every kill drops Zen and counts for your streak.
- Use the Blood Moon. The EXP bonus stacks with your hunting streak and with Fortune.
- Shrine of Fortune plus a swarm is the best EXP you can get in the Dungeon right now.
Restart your launcher to get the update, jump into the Dungeon and tell us on Discord what you found down there.
