Privacy at Kantru.

Last updated 24 September 2026. This notice covers the website, community accounts, optional Discord connection, cookieless audience measurement and the launch email signup.

What we collect

We store your email address, the time you signed up and your consent to receive the Kantru launch announcement. We use a short-lived request counter to limit automated abuse.

What it is used for

Your email is for the launch announcement you requested. Signing up does not create a paid subscription or consent to an ongoing marketing newsletter.

Storage and deletion

Signups are stored on the server hosting this website. They are not displayed publicly. You can request removal before the announcement by contacting the Kantru team through our Discord community. Please contact a team member privately rather than posting your email publicly.

Optional Discord connection

If you connect Discord from account settings, we store your Discord account ID, username, display name, avatar identifier and connection date to show which account is linked. Discord handles the authorization. Kantru does not store your Discord access token. You can disconnect from account settings.

Cookieless analytics

Kantru uses PostHog EU Cloud in strict cookieless mode to understand page visits, referrers and browser/device categories. It does not set analytics cookies or persistent browser storage, identify visitors, create person profiles or record sessions. PostHog derives a short-lived, privacy-preserving visitor count and discards the IP address before analytics enrichment.

Legal basis and provider

We use this limited audience measurement under our legitimate interest in improving the website. PostHog processes the analytics in its EU Cloud. Kantru does not sell this data or use it for advertising.
