Item links in chat, faster Dark Lord skills and fairer dungeon boss loot
Link any item in chat with SHIFT + left click, and hold SHIFT over items on the ground to read their info. Dark Lord Fire Burst and Fire Blast now speed up with your attack speed, and everyone who helps kill a dungeon boss gets loot of their own.
You can now link items in chat. Hold SHIFT and left click an item in your inventory, and it goes into the chat box as a link that everyone can hover to read the full item info. Alongside it come faster Dark Lord skills and a fairer way to share dungeon boss loot.
Item links and ground item info
- Link an item in chat: hold SHIFT and left click the item in your inventory. The link lands in your message, and anyone who hovers it sees the item exactly as you would in your own inventory.
- Read items on the ground: hold SHIFT while your cursor is over an item on the ground to see its info without picking it up.
Use it to show off a drop, ask what an item is worth, or compare an item before you pick it up.
Dark Lord: Fire Burst and Fire Blast speed up with attack speed
Fire Burst and Fire Blast used to cast at a fixed pace no matter how much speed you had. Now the pace follows your attack speed, so more Agility finally shows. Fire Burst went from about 3 casts a second to roughly 6.5 at 8,000 Agility, 9 at 20,000 and 13 at 32,000.
- Splash hits land at once. The main target and the monsters around it are hit on the same moment, with no short wait before the splash.
- Fire Blast swings smoother. The animation is eased down so the faster casts do not look jittery.
- Hits arrive on time. Skills that deal damage a moment after the cast, such as Chaotic Diseier, now land on their intended timing instead of waiting for the next server tick.
Dungeon bosses: everyone who helps gets loot
- Every contributor is rewarded. Each player who dealt at least 25% of the boss's health gets their own rewards, rolled separately for each of them.
- Your loot is yours. It can only be picked up by you for 120 seconds. Anyone else who tries sees "This item belongs to" and the owner's name.
- Ancient items: each contributor has a 33% chance to receive one set piece that their own class can wear. Champion bosses can sometimes give a tier C piece as well.
- Overlord jewel bundles now drop at a 50% chance each, so the bundles are no longer certain.
Steadier connection
If your connection drops for a moment, the game brings you back in on its own instead of leaving you on the login screen. Players on a connection that is cut now and then will notice it most.
