Chaos Machine

Every Chaos Machine recipe with its ingredients, success rate and zen price, and a calculator for your chance and the average cost.

The Chaos Goblin's Chaos Machine combines items into something new: chaos weapons and wings, mounts, event tickets and more. Pick a goal in the calculator to see what to bring and what it costs, or search the full recipe list below. Every recipe and number is read from the server's own files.

What do you want to make?

Pick a goal. You see what goes in the machine, your chance with Talismans of Luck, and what it costs on average until it works.

Put in the machine

1st wings (any level)Loch's FeatherJewel of ChaosExcellent items +4 or higher (add value)×0+

You get

Wings of Spirits, Soul, Dragon, Darkness or Despair (one in five)
Talismans of Luck
Chance per try
90%
no Talismans
Zen per try
5,000,000
Average tries

Until it works you use about

1st wings (any level)×1.1Loch's Feather×1.1Jewel of Chaos×1.1Excellent items +4 or higher (add value)×0+

These are averages over many tries: one mix can work on the first go or take three times as long. A failed mix usually destroys what you put in.

The chance is the wings' value ÷ 4,000,000 plus the other items' value ÷ 40,000, up to 90%. Luck 20%, excellent option 20%. On failure everything is lost.

How a mix works

Chaos Goblin

Chaos Goblin

Put the ingredients in the machine's window. The window shows the success rate and the zen price before you press Mix; when a guild owns the castle, its tax is added to the price.

  • Each mix is rolled on its own: a failed mix does not make the next one more likely to succeed.
  • A failed mix usually destroys what you put in. Some recipes are kinder, and their notes say so.
  • A Talisman of Luck adds +1% per point to most mixes, up to +10%. With more than 10 points in the machine the mix fails.
  • On item upgrades (+10 to +15), a Talisman of Chaos Assembly keeps the item if the mix fails; it drops to +0.
  • Where a recipe says "item value", the chance grows with the value of the items you add.

Chaos weapons and first wings

Chaos weapons are the first step to wings: the value of what you add decides the chance.

Makes Chaos Dragon Axe, Chaos Nature Bow or Chaos Lightning Staff (one in three)

Items +4 or higher with a +4 option, Jewels of Bless and Soul (they add value)×1+Jewel of Chaos

Comes out at +0 to +4. On failure the jewels are lost and the other items lose levels.

Second and third wings

Second wings and capes start from first wings and a Loch's Feather. Third wings need a Feather and a Flame of Condor plus excellent items, not the second wings themselves.

  • 2nd wings

Makes Wings of Spirits, Soul, Dragon, Darkness or Despair (one in five)

Horn of Fenrir

From the Crywolf drops to a Black or Blue Fenrir in four mixes at the Chaos Goblin, and one more mix turns a Black Fenrir Blue or a Blue one Black. Every mix takes a Jewel of Chaos, and a failed mix loses everything in the machine. A Talisman of Luck adds +1% per point, up to 10; the castle tax is added to the zen.

  4. Horn of Fenrir
  5. Black or Blue Fenrir
  6. Black ↔ Blue re-roll

Step 1 Collect the materials in Crywolf Fortress

They drop only in Crywolf Fortress, outside the battle. The server rolls them in order and stops at the first drop, so Bless of Guardian is only rolled when no Splinter of Armor dropped.

Weapons make a Black Fenrir (+10% damage), armor a Blue one (10% of the damage absorbed); weapons and armor together are refused, and so is a Horn that is already Black, Blue or Gold. A Talisman of Luck adds +1% per point, up to +10%. On failure everything in the machine is lost.

The Fenrir keeps its durability, name and skill; only its type flips. A re-roll into the type it already has is refused and nothing is used up. Bundles of Life, Chaos and Creation count as 10 / 20 / 30 jewels (+0 / +1 / +2). The castle tax is added to the zen.

One Horn of Fenrir when every mix succeeds

At these success rates a Fragment of Horn takes about 1.4 tries, a Broken Horn 2 and the horn 3.3; turning it Black or Blue takes about 2 more at 50%, so plan for more.

Event tickets

Entry items for the timed events. The two parts must be the same level, and the ticket comes out at that level. While the Crywolf bonus is active these mixes get +5%.

Tips

  • Read the rate in the window before you press Mix; recipes with "up to" only reach their cap with enough item value.
  • Budget with the average, not the best case: a 30% mix takes about 3 tries, so bring the ingredients and the zen three times over.
  • Collect the parts for event tickets at the same level: a level 3 eye and a level 3 key make a +3 invitation.
  • Talismans of Luck matter most on the low-rate recipes, such as third wings and the Horn of Fenrir.
