Imperial Guardian
The Fortress of Imperial Guardian: the boss of each day, tickets, how a zone works, difficulty and rewards.
The Fortress of Imperial Guardian is a party dungeon that is open all day. The day of the week decides which fortress and which boss you face; on Sunday the whole fortress is open and Gaion Kharein waits at the end. Every number on this page comes from the server's own files.
The week
The day you enter decides the fortress and its boss, by server time. Monday to Saturday have three zones and a boss at the end; Sunday has four zones and a boss in each, ending with Gaion Kharein.

Every member needs a ticket of their own. Form the party first: only the players already in it when the first member walks in can follow, during the first zone's three-minute wait.
Gaion's OrderMon–Sat
Collect five Suspicious Scraps of Paper; they join into the order by themselves. Monsters of level 32 and up drop a scrap with a 0.1% chance. The order is used up when you enter.
An Access Ticket to Varka works too; it loses one use per entry.
Complete SecromiconSunday
Mix the six fragments in the Chaos Machine for 1,000,000 zen. It never fails. Each weekday boss drops its own fragment.
Or buy an Access Ticket to Varka Map 7. In the cash shop (X in the game): 60 KCoin for one entry or 540 KCoin for ten.

Three minutes to get ready
The clock starts when the first member enters. Monsters appear when it runs out.
Ten minutes to clear it
Kill every monster before the time is up. One monster left at zero and the mission fails: everyone is sent back to Devias. Monsters do not come back.
Some gates can be broken at once; the others and the two Stone Statues only after every monster is dead. The statues are optional and drop an item and some zen.

Through the portal
The portal to the next zone opens when the ten minutes are over, even if you cleared early. You then have 20 seconds to walk through; anyone left behind is out.
The last zone
Here the run ends as soon as every monster is dead. You get 20 seconds to pick up the loot before everyone is sent back. A weekday run takes about 40 minutes, a Sunday run about 53.

If you die you wake up in Devias and your part in the run is over; the rest of the party carries on. Bosses go berserk at 30% HP: from then on they hit twice as hard and take half the damage.
Difficulty
The fortress scales to the highest level plus master level in your party, counting members who stayed outside. A strong friend in the party makes it harder for everyone, and raises the drop tier.
That level gives the fortress a monster level. The named bosses are built from the monster level formula at that level: the weekday bosses on the Boss X3 tier, Gaion Kharein on Boss X6.
| Highest party level | Monster level | Weekday boss HP | Gaion Kharein HP | Other monsters HP |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 150 | 59 | 71,000 | 350,000 | 58,500 |
| 300 | 85 | 300,000 | 1,500,000 | 650,000 |
| 400 | 105 | 860,000 | 4,300,000 | 1,170,000 |
| 600 | 145 | 6,500,000 | 32,000,000 | 1,300,000 |
| 800 | 154 | 10,000,000 | 50,000,000 | 1,430,000 |
Rewards
Clearing the last zone pays experience once to every member still in the fortress, by their own level plus master level. Sunday pays double. The server rate does not apply, and a Seal of Sustenance blocks it.

Each weekday boss drops its own fragment: one piece (50%), two (29%) or three (21%). Sunday bosses drop none.
What each boss item roll gives depends on the party's highest level. Excellent items always come with skill; ancient items are a random set piece.

Stone Statues mostly give an Imp (about 90%), otherwise a Jewel of Chaos, Creation, Soul, Life or Bless.
Good to know

Tips
- Bring a ticket for every member, and form the party before the first member enters.
- Clearing a zone early does not open the portal sooner: use the spare time on the Stone Statues and the gates.

- A high-level friend outside the fortress still raises the difficulty if they are in your party.
- Collect the fragments from Monday to Saturday to make your Complete Secromicon for Sunday.
